Organized in partnership with the Sampson County Meth Task Force as a fundraiser for their organization’s educational programs. Proud owners are encouraged to bring their classic cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, business vehicles, and emergency service vehicles for display around the Courthouse in support of this cause. Swingin’ tunes will be provided by Robert Stroud & the Boogie Shoes Network.
Alive After Five
3rd Thursdays, 5:45 – 8:30 p.m. (May 15, June 19, July 17, Aug. 21, October 10)
Come out with friends and a lawn chair to enjoy the music downtown. Soak up the afternoon sun, dance ’til you drop, or just sit back and watch! It’s a great event for the whole family to enjoy…and it’s free! Gates open and DJ Robert Stroud of the Boogie Shoes Network begins at 5:00 pm, and all concerts begin at 5:45 pm and last until 8:30 pm. Food and beverages will be available from our vendors.
Movies at the Market
2nd Thursday of June and July, beginning at 8:30 p.m. (June 11th, July 10th)
Sponsored by the Clinton Main Street Program Promotion Committee, ‘Movies at the Market’ is a great event where you can come watch a classic family movie under Clinton City Market in Downtown Clinton free of charge.

Mark you calendars for Saturday, October 11, 2014. Downtown Clinton’s largest annual event will take place - The Court Square Street Fair and Barbecue Cook-Off. This year marks the 28th year of the vent, and thanks to our growing constellation of partners, this year’s event will be the biggest and best yet! Halloween on the Square

Come join us for the 4th Annual Halloween on the Square! This years event will feature a pumpkin carving contest, trunk or treat candy giveaway, costume contest, ghost hunt, and great live music. For more information about this event, please contact Betty Holland at (910) 299-4904.
Christmas in the City

5:30 – 9:00 p.m.
This annual event features a community tree lighting, carriage and hay rides around downtown, Santa on the Courthouse Square, a reception and silent auction at the History Museum, and live Christmas music on the Courthouse steps. Entries from the Sampson Arts Council’s gingerbread house decorating contest are on display, and children are encouraged to come decorate a gingerbread treat of their own.

Come and enjoy home-made floats, professional floats, classic cars, new cars, area Queens and Little Misses, clowns, bands, dancers, and of course Santa Claus! Enjoy the Christmas spirit at the Christmas in Clinton Parade. Bring your family to enjoy the parade that begins at the Exposition Center and goes through downtown Clinton.
